The principle of unidirectional transmission of circulator is due to the use of ferrite gyromagnetic materials.This material produces gyromagnetic properties (also known as tensor permeability properties) under the combined action of an applied high-frequency wave field and a constant DC magnetic field.It is this gyromagnetic property that causes the polarization rotation (Faraday effect) of the electromagnetic wave propagating in ferrite, and the strong absorption of electromagnetic wave energy (ferromagnetic resonance). It is the use of this gyromagnetic phenomenon that makes the junctions isolator and circulator.It has the characteristics of small size, wide frequency band and small insertion loss, so it is widely used.
